Three Injured In Separate Bemidji Motor Vehicle Collisions
Friday night, three people were sent to the hospital after an intersection collisions. A Honda Odyssey Van was traveling south on Highway 197 when it was broadsided by a Buick LeSabre. One of the drivers was cited for failing to yield the right-of-way. About 15 minuets later, a 2000 Toyota was headed west on Highway 2 when the driver lost control at a railroad bridge, spun out into the median and rolled. Speed and icy conditions may have been involved. All three drivers were injured.
If you are in an accident, make sure to get the names of anyone who indicates they saw what happened. If you witness an accident, check to see if everyone is OK and stay acircular or at minimum give the drivers your contact information. If you are injured, seek the advice of an attorney who does that kind of work and who can explain your coverages and rights.
